Ankylosing disease is an inflammatory condition that causes some bones in the spine (called vertebrae) to fuse over time. Over time, this fusing reduces the spine’s flexibility and can lead to hunched posture. If your ribs are affected, you may experience difficulty in breathing deeply. This condition is divided into 2 types- If the condition is found on x-ray it is called as axial spodyloarthritis and if the condition is not found on x-ray but present in blood test and other imaging it's known as non-radigraphic axial spodyloarthritis. With the time symptoms become worse, it also includes neck pain and fatigue.
