A Total Hip Replacement is a surgery in which a damaged hip joint is replaced with an artificial joint to reduce pain and improve movement. It is commonly done in people who have severe hip arthritis, long-term joint damage, or difficulty in walking due to hip pain. Before surgery, many patients experience pain while walking, standing, climbing stairs, or even during simple daily activities. The hip may feel stiff, weak, and movement can become limited over time. After surgery, physiotherapy plays a very important role in recovery. The body needs time to regain strength, balance, and normal movement patterns. Without proper rehabilitation, patients may continue to feel weakness or difficulty while walking. At Physionautics, we guide patients step by step through their recovery journey. We assess walking pattern, muscle strength, balance, and hip mobility to create an individualized rehabilitation plan. Treatment focuses on reducing stiffness, improving hip movement, strengthening the surrounding muscles, and helping patients walk safely and confidently again. Balance training, gait correction, and functional exercises are gradually introduced according to recovery progress. We also educate patients about safe movements, posture, and precautions to protect the new hip joint during daily activities.
