



A cervicogenic headache is a type of headache that starts from the neck (cervical spine) but is felt in the head. In simple words the pain is not actually coming from the brain. It is coming from problems in the neck joints muscles or nerves and then spreading to the head. This usually happens due to poor posture stiffness in neck joints muscle tightness or injury. The pain is commonly felt on one side of the head especially at the back of the head temples or behind the eyes. It may increase when you move your neck sit for long hours or keep your head in one position. Along with headache patients may also feel neck pain reduced neck movement and stiffness.
